We have been a part of the community for the past century and a popular venue for celebrating all of life’s events.
Our function rooms are available for hire throughout the year and a Marquee may be available at select times of the year by arrangement. The Marquee will seat up to 200 people with space for a dance floor and bar if needed.
The Club House has recently been refurbished with a new members bar and the newly created function room/restaurant ‘The Jackdaws Lounge’ so named after the Jackdaws frequently seen flying around the village of Dinas Powis and especially the golf course.
The club is also pleased to announce that after a restructuring of the services provided Mr Brian Stafford has been appointed as Head Chef.
Brian has over 13years of experience in the catering industry having previously worked at Michelin star restaurant establishments including ‘The Aubergine’ (London) and the ‘Westbury Hotel’ and ‘Roly’s Bistro’ (Dublin).
Since moving to Wales he has been Head Chef at the award winning ‘The Gallery’ Barry Senior Chef at ‘El Peuerto’s’ and ‘La Marina’ Penarth, and Sous Chef at ‘Le Pierre Bistro’ Cardiff to name a few.
For the last two years Brian has been working at Dinas Powis Golf Club with Dommett Catering and has been involved in the preparation and cooking of the well-known Sunday carvery and other events.
While the catering department of the club has been restructured to provide more control and flexibility over the services provided to our customers and golfing visitors, Brian and his team will continue to provide the Sunday Carvery and other weekday special nights that the club has become well known for.
All bookings currently confirmed by customers with the club or via Dommett Catering will be honoured at the price and service agreed.
The Club can host private events and parties, wedding ceremonies (licenced for the purpose of marriage) & receptions. We can provide fantastic buffet’s as well as full service dinners.
